Bulk heterojunction

A heterojunction is the interface between two materials having different band gaps, such as a p-type semiconductor and an n-type semiconductor. In organic photovoltaic devices, the term "bulk heterojunction" has been used to describe a heterojunction composed of two different band gap materials such as electron acceptor fullerenes and electron donor polymer, mixed together in a bulk and thus containing several discrete interfaces. (see juristische Übersetzung quotes funny funny quotes funny jokes
