Dr. Gopal Coimbatore
Gopal Coimbatore is currently a Research Associate at the Institute of Environmental and Human Health, Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. He received a Masters degree from Sri Satya Sai University, Anatapur, India, and earned his Doctorate in Chemistry in the area of synthesis and characterization of liquid crystalline polymers from the Raman Research Institute, Bangalore, India in 1998 under Prof. B.K. Sadashiva. He served as the Program Chair for the ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry from 2005–2008.
