Dr. Hongjun Zhou

Area of Research:
Hongjun’s research interest is in the study of single nanoparticle collision events. He is also interested in fabrication and application of nanocrystalline metal oxides and devices based on these materials.
Area of Expertise:
electrochemistry; one dimensional nanostructures; optical, magnetic and catalytic properties of metal oxides
Biography:
Hongjun Zhou is a postdoc in Prof. Allen J. Bard's research group in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Stanislaus S. Wong in the Department of Chemistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York in 2009. He received both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Polymer Science and Engineering from Nanjing University, China in 2003 and 2000, respectively.
