Prof. Michael D Dickey
North Carolina State University
Area of Research:
Michael's research interests are broad, but he is primarily interested in developing new materials and methods for micro- and nanofabrication, patterning, and assembly.

Lithography, polymer thin-films, microfluidics, soft materials, nanofabrication, photocurable materials
Biography:
Michael received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (1999) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin (2006) under the guidance of Professor Grant Willson. He recently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the lab of Professor George Whitesides at Harvard University. Michael has several years of industrial work experience as a co-op for Kimberly Clark and as a Chemical Engineer for Merck. In August 2008, he joined the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at NC State University as an Assistant Professor.
