Prof. Francesco Stellacci

Francesco's interests are in the study of surface phenomena in supramolecular assemblies, in particular when applied as coatings on nanoscale materials.

Biography:
Francesco Stellacci graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 1998 with a thesis on photochromic materials. He then moved to the University of Arizona as a post-doctoral scholar and worked on two-photon microfabrication of 3D metallic structures. In September 2002 he became a faculty member in the Department of Materials Science at MIT, where now he is an Associate Professor.
