Miss Fen Zhang

Area of Research:
Fen’s research interests are in the areas of design, synthesis, and characterization of functional nanomaterials, and their associated applications. She is particularly interested in the optical and magnetic properties of one-dimensional nanostructures, as well as their incorporation into nanodevice

nanofabrication, nanorods, photoluminescence, magnetism
Biography:
Fen Zhang is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Chemistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, under the supervision of Prof. Stanislaus S. Wong. She received her bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2004. She is a member of the American Chemical Society and Materials Research Society.
